Initially, I will delve into a comprehensive examination of our dataset to uncover any recurring patterns or notable trends concerning users' ride requests. This investigation will encompass the following:
- Pinpointing specific pick-up and drop-off locations, preferred timeframes, as well as days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- The preferred modes of transportation among users,
- The typical distances traveled during these rides
- The statistics about the waiting time to get their ride.
- Assess the availability of rides within the specified location and time parameters to determine the ease of access for users
- Any feedback from the users regarding the scheduling feature from any opened tickets, ratings, …etc,
- Any complaints about waiting time or unavailability
- Any canceled rides due to much waiting time.
- Issues in predicting the demand for the rides.
- The statistics about the driver waiting time
The insights gained from this analysis will be instrumental in comprehending user behaviors and preferences, thereby enabling us to tailor the scheduling feature to meet their distinct requirements effectively. By aligning the feature with user expectations, we aim to enhance user satisfaction and optimize the overall ride-hailing experience.
